The Governing Body has hijacked the place of Christ by following ways:

01.) They openly deny that Jesus is the mediator of mankind. They say Jesus is mediator only for the Governing Body and the rest of the anointed.

02.) They teach that the rest of mankind must join and support the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses to benefit from the sacrifice of Jesus. So the Governing Body is the mediator for the rest of mankind.

03.) They told JW's that they should "not be toying with Jesus words about no one knowing the day and hour" of the end. Watchtower 1968 Aug 15 under the study article " Why are you looking forward to 1975?".
So the Governing Body knows better than Jesus and they even tell their worshippers to ignore his words!!! You can't make this up!!! Look it up!

04.) Jesus promised that HE would be with his disciples till the end. The Governing Body says that only by accepting their authority and doing the works approved by the Watchtower Organization can a person have Gods blessing and approval.

05.) Jesus promised That he would send his helper and comforter that would guide his followers to all truth. Jesus never said a Corporation with changing doctrines would be that source of truth but The Holy Spirit. Again the Governing Body hijacks Jesus words and apply it to themselves. They ignore the role of the Holy Spirit as being the one responsible to guide his individual followers to all truth and confort.

06.) Jesus said he was The Truth. The Governing Body however says that they are the truth. Even JW's refer to their religion as the truth instead of Christ. Whenever the Governing Body uses the phrase or word "truth" they usually mean their religion instead of Jesus Christ.

07.) When Peter said in John chapter 6 to whom else shall we go? He was referring to JESUS as the one having sayings of truth and life. The Governing Body however says that it's their religion that members should never leave and apply Peter's words to those who leave their religion. Again the Governing Body applies verses that refer to Jesus to THEMSELVES.

08.) The Governing Body has stated in their publications that no one can understand the Bible without accepting the Watchtower Corporations literature. How is it possible that reading the inspired word of God the bible, is not enough to understand it. Instead you need their UNINSPIRED literature and interpretations to understand gods truth? Their 1st President C.T. Russel even warned that a person is better off reading their Watchtower books than reading the inspired word of God.

The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses has caused much suffering and confusion using the name of Christ. They constantly tell their members to guide new recruits to the organization instead of Christ. They judge and spread hatred towards others that do not agree with their shenanigans.
They fit the description given by Jesus of being false prophets and modern day Pharisees.
