Lots of talk of gifts for the holidays but today I offer you the greatest gift in human history the gift of eternal life that was paid for through Jesus Christ finished work on the cross.

Romans 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

God offers us salvation as a gift because we are not good and cannot save ourselves as there are none that doeth good not one.

Romans 3:12

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

We are all sinners and sin separates us from

God as the wages of sin is death but God offers us the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Romans 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Since we are sinners and none of us are good no not one we can only receive salvation by faith as a gift not of works.

Salvation is only received by faith not by trusting in works to be saved , stay saved or prove your saved it must be received by faith and nothing else.

Ephesians 2:8-9

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Today I proclaim to you the good news and offer you the free gift of eternal life.

The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures and if you believe on Him you are saved forever and can never lose salvation.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Romans 1:16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Acts 10:43

43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

John 6:47

47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Once you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ you can never lose salvation as you shall not come into condemnation.

John 5:24

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Once you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ you are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption guaranteeing you can never lose salvation.

Ephesians 1:13-14

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Once you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ you are perfected forever meaning your sins are taken away past, present and future for your salvation.

Hebrews 10:14

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Once you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ you are an overcomer and God will not blot your name out of the book of life meaning you can never lose salvation no matter what.

1 John 5:5

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Revelation 3:5

5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who died for our sins was buried and rose again the third day and trust in Him apart from anything you do and be saved today.

Acts 16:30-31

30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
